Minister: Prague to convince EU to abandon Russian oil in '22

PRAGUE, Apr 12 (PRIME) -- Prague plans to convince the rest of E.U. states to abandon Russian oil during its presidency in the E.U. in July–December 2022, Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavsky said on Tuesday.

"During the Czech presidency in the E.U., we plan to convince the E.U. member-states to forego purchases of Russian oil," the official said.
